How Aikasa Collective describe the game.
"Is there a true path to happiness?" Abruptly finding herself at the bottom of a snake pit, an impoverished girl named Linh is bound and helpless for a crime she did not commit. Left to the mercy of the village snake god, a mysterious entity appears before her, offering to save her in exchange for her soul. Finding herself in a new reality, she is torn between staying with the beautiful temptress, Ai, who had rescued her from death, and the resourceful wanderer, Jinhai, who promises to set her free. Who is the real savior? Will Linh discover the strength to change her own fate? Journey with Linh as she is forced to question her understanding of life, happiness, and what it means to be human. Each decision matters in this tale about identity, friendship, love and loss.
Story (Spoiler?)
In Muzuchi our main character is called 'Linh' but you have option to change her name to anything you want to, Back to the game Linh is a young woman living in poor house with nothing to eat and wearing torn clothes everyday she either have to stealing food from her neighbour to survive but she do have a family and they are living together. Linh woke up one day from her bed it was a normal morning like usual but little does she know something is different from other day not only she encounter a hurt serpent but also a marriage proposal from an acquaintance which she was indeed in shock but accept it since she thought it was right and she don't have to starve anymore BUT wait this is a Yuri game so keep reading. Not a day with her having a fiancee Linh was accuse to caught in an adultery act with another man she didn't know and that made the villager angry even though it was not true, they throw rocks at her, hit her and so on but at last her fiancee who was at fault throw her to a snake pit for the "trial" so the Serpent God decide to do with her. But ofcourse being a main character the Serpent God saved her and tell her to choose her fate, The Serpent God gave her 2 choice. Choose her own fate or do what the Serpent God said and at that point it depend which choice you choose will happend to the story is there your real story started now. Linh woke up in a room she don't know and there is the serpent god at the corner explain to her what is her purpose of being here and revealed that her name is Ai. Ai is know as Serpent god for many people and the villager look up to her and pray for her constantly but she is also a shapeshifter which means she can have many form she want to and change to anything she likes. There's is aswell another person who live and will live in the house of Ai and that's another love interest of Linh who is a female monk named 'Jihad' who seems to be rival with Ai but they do get along well honestly. So far that is all i can tell of the story so the real story has began from all your choice that you make and keep it in mínd that you will get one ending of five endings so you will be able to play all over it again to get all the ending.
My thought of the game.
Honestly when i started the game i was impressed by the beautiful illustration on the main menu.
The game itself was amazing with the camera movement and focused on the details what the main character was looking at and it will zoom into it and make it easier to follow to the story. The sound effect is good but the laughing effect of girls kinda scare me it remind me of horror movie when i had it on volume but other than that it was on point with the music and face expression of the main characters. When playing the game it will be more like a perspective of Linh but on the left side you can see all her expression what and how she feelings when doing anything which i give another point to the game and also the fruits of the gave me nostalgic memories which made me gave out a big gasp a lot of times due of being familiar with it. But there was some dialog that was hard to me to keep up like when Linh was almost drowing and the Jihad appeared out of no where and start to fight Ai but then suddenly Jihad gonna move on and live with them was confused to me cause it doesn't make sense at all to me i meant everything just happend so fast but that was it that left the first impression of the game for me and Ai is very sweet , she is observant and seems to know alot about Linh so she take care of Linh really well. It is a bit of change for people who don't want to play highschool games so this will be the one to pick up and it's based of famous Asian romance story but yuri. In the game there was this moment that kind makes me mad how the villagers just hit and throw rocks at her due to the misunderstanding but what makes me even more mad is that how and why are they so mad at her when it is not even their problem or having the rights to do that to her but anyways it was frustrating but can't do anything about it and to know that something like this happend in the past in real life people is so unfair but now it's Fantasy game anything can happend just like the twist in the game. The game have 5 endings and one friendship ending it's hard to choose which 'True Ending' i like becuase they are both good, Ai and Jihad are really sweet but i would choose Ai anytime honestly. So as that come to the end and i would said i enjoy the game alot and it's different to other yuri visual novels with the storyline, details of the game, background music and illustration CGS are so beautiful i can't help but awe everytime any scenes changes. Definetly will play again!
